Fase 1: De eerste paal is blauw waard

Bouw van een aanlandstation voor luchtschepen op landingsbaan Schiphol

Op 4 juli 2000 is door prof. dr. A. Heertje de eerste paal geslagen voor een aanlandstation voor luchtschepen. De locatie is het Bulderbos bij Hoofddorp op de beoogde vijfde landingsbaan van Schiphol. Deze eerste paal is een mijlpaal op weg naar een duurzame samenleving en aanleiding om na te denken over alternatieven voor de alsmaar groeiende en vervuilende vervoersstromen.

Phase 1: The first pile to be driven is blue
Construction of a landing station for airships on a Schiphol runway. On 4 July 2000, Prof. A. Heertje struck the first pile for a landing station for airships. The location is the Bulderbos near Hoofddorp on the intended fifth runway of Schiphol. This first pile is a milestone on the road to a sustainable society and a reason to think about alternatives for the ever-growing and polluting traffic flows.
